Gooey and crunchy peanut butter on top on crunchy bread, a perfect way to reward yourself for getting out of bed. Please do not waste your time with white bread just to save a few calories and carbs here.  Whole grain bread (especially Dave’s) is so much tastier and satisfying. This bread is indeed more expensive, but it is a high quality product and in my opinion absolutely worth the price. The “21 Whole Grains and Seeds” version is my favorite (though some other people prefer the “power seeds” version). Flaxseed are optional, but a worthy addition. These super seeds provide alpha linoleic acid (an omega 3 fatty acid), lignans (which have antioxidant properties and possible mild blood glucose lowering effect), and fiber.
