- 1 cup canned chickpeas
- 1 medium red onion finely chopped
- 1 medium tomato finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon garam masala powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 each jalapeno deseeded and sliced into rounds
- 1/2 each lemon juiced
- cilantro leaves (coriander leaves) optional
In a large bowl, mixe together the chickpeas, chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, cumin, sliced jalapeno, garam masala, and lemon juice. mix well.
garnish with cilantro (coriander) leaves if desired and serve.
