Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned chickpeas
  • 1 medium red onion finely chopped
  • 1 medium tomato finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 each jalapeno deseeded and sliced into rounds
  • 1/2 each lemon juiced
  • cilantro leaves (coriander leaves) optional

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mixe together the chickpeas, chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, cumin, sliced jalapeno, garam masala, and lemon juice. mix well.
  • garnish with cilantro (coriander) leaves if desired and serve.
